Control Panel for System Administrators

The Old College Tennis Club in Bromley, London uses the MyCourts booking system

The Old College Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club uses the MyCourts booking system.

  • 7 tennis courts
  • 500+ members
  • 130+ weekly repeat bookings

Your club would designate some members as System Administrators (these would usually be committee members). The System Administrators access a separate Control Panel to manage the court booking system.

  • Members Management System -- Controls which members have access to the booking system. Members are either set to "active" (and are able to login and book courts) or set to "inactive" (and unable to login). The membership secretary can add new members when required, and the system provides several features for managing membership renewal and expiration.

  • Block bookings -- It's very easy to block courts for club nights, team matches, and tournaments. Just select the date and click the courts to block out.

  • Cancellations -- The booking system can be configured to track late cancellations and no-shows, or to refund members for cancelled courts.

  • Booking statistics -- with ongoing monthly comparison reports.

In addition, the MyCourts Administration System has several additional features which have been developed specifically to address the needs of UK squash and tennis clubs.

  • League Management System -- This has proven to be a very popular feature for members, who can look up league opponents on the website and get their contact details (shown only to logged-in members). No more excuses for not playing all those league matches!

  • Web page Content Management System -- The built-in Content Management System (CMS) is used to edit web pages and upload images and files (such as the membership application form) which are published on the booking system website. No technical skills are required -- if you can use Word then you can publish web pages!

  • Email Broadcasting System -- You can easily broadcast email messages to all members. Simply compose, then broadcast your message. There's no need to maintain a separate mailing list, as members can update their own email addresses on the system.

  • Payments Ledger System -- This is a simple ledger system to record payments for membership fees, tournament entries, and any other items that may need to be recorded. The system keeps a separate account for each member in the database.

The Administration System features can be accessed from any PC with an Internet connection, so that the club management (or designated committee members) can block courts and control members' access to the system, and perform other management tasks from home or office.

These features can also be separately restricted with different logins so that the tasks can be delegated and managed by different committee members or administrators.
